A Simple Love Letter
Dear Prefrontal Cortex,
I know I don’t appreciate you enough. But let me just tell you, I love you. With my whole being. I love you.
You always keep me in check.
You tell me what’s right…what’s wrong…
What’s good…what’s bad…
You know proper judgement.
Whenever I want to shove a group of teenagers from the back down a flight stairs because they’re walking too slow while talking about Jersey Shore…you know how to stop me and prevent me from going to jail.
Whenever I see a couple cupcaking WAY too much in public and wish to pee in their drinks to teach them a lesson…you stop me and prevent me from getting arrested for public nudity.
Without you, I am dynamite just waiting to be lit by the most minuscule things.
Without you, I would simply be trapped in a “glass case of emotion”.
You complete me.
Love Always and Sincerely,
The Heart
PS: Sorry that stupid “Body” is always drinking so much. I know how it makes your voice a lot quieter…almost nonexistent really…but I just want you to know that Body and I still need you. Even if Body has had one too many wine coolers.
